Listings
How do I create a listing?
Go to My Listings → New listing. The wizard walks you through every section: platform overview, tech stack, traction evidence, IP checklist, pricing, and data room upload. Your DX Score is computed automatically when you submit.
How long does review take?
Most listings are reviewed within 1–2 business days. You'll receive an email when approved or if we need changes. Listings are not visible to buyers until they're approved.
Can I edit a live listing?
Yes. Go to My Listings and select your listing to edit. Some changes (like asking price and description) publish immediately. Others may trigger a re-review if they materially change the listing.
What is the Clean IP badge?
Listings earn the Clean IP badge when they pass all checks in our IP checklist: sole ownership, no open-source licence conflicts, no outstanding contractor claims, and no trademark issues. It's a signal to buyers — not a legal warranty.
DX Score & Valuation
What is the DX Score?
The DX Score is a 0–100 rating across four quadrants: Replacement Cost (what it costs to rebuild), IP Quality (ownership cleanliness), Market Opportunity (problem size), and Traction Signals (evidence of real-world use). A higher score reflects a more credible and complete asset.
How is the RCV range calculated?
The Replacement Cost Valuation (RCV) range applies a multiplier to the estimated development cost based on your DX Score tier. It's a modelled estimate — not a guaranteed price. See our Disclaimer for the full methodology.
Can I improve my DX Score?
Yes. Add more detail to under-scored sections, upload documentation for IP ownership, and provide verifiable traction evidence (screenshots, analytics). Your score updates automatically when you save changes.
Deals & Offers
Is a submitted offer binding?
No. Offers are non-binding proposals. A deal only becomes binding when both parties have agreed on terms and the buyer has funded escrow. Either party can withdraw before escrow is funded.
What happens after my offer is accepted?
You'll receive an email with a link to fund escrow via Escrow.com. You have 48 hours to fund escrow or the deal may be reopened. Once funded, the seller begins the three-milestone transfer process.
What are the three transfer milestones?
IP assignment (all trademarks and proprietary IP), domain transfer (registrar ownership change), and source code transfer (GitHub org/repo handover with seller access revoked). Escrow is released only when all three are confirmed.
What if there's a dispute?
For deal disputes, contact [email protected] with your deal ID. For escrow disputes, Escrow.com has its own dispute resolution process that both parties agree to when initiating a transaction.
Data Room & NDAs
How do I access a data room?
Go to the listing and click "Access data room". You'll be shown the NDA to sign via click-to-sign. Once signed, the data room is immediately unlocked and you'll receive a confirmation email.
Is the NDA legally binding?
Yes. The DayXero Standard NDA is a binding confidentiality agreement. By signing it, you agree not to disclose, reproduce, or use data room contents for any purpose other than evaluating the acquisition.
As a seller, how do I add files to my data room?
In your listing editor, go to the Data Room tab. You can upload PDFs, spreadsheets, architecture diagrams, and other documents. Buyers only see them after signing an NDA.
Billing & Subscriptions
What does it cost to list?
Listing is completely free. DayXero charges a 6% platform fee on completed transactions, deducted from the agreed sale price at the time of escrow release.
What does Pro Buyer include?
Pro Buyer ($29/month) includes unlimited saved searches with instant alerts, priority access to new listings, full RCV breakdowns, due diligence checklist templates, and priority support.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to Settings → Billing → Cancel subscription. Your access continues until the end of your current billing period. You won't be charged again after cancellation.
